Prepare

We accept applications at our two office locations daily – no appointment necessary. Application hours are 8:00AM-3:00PM on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and on Wednesday 8:00AM-1:00PM.
When you come into the office, we ask you to bring two forms of valid ID (Example- State ID/Driver’s License and Social Security Card). At the time you fill out the application, we will sit down with you for an interview.

Interview

You should expect to spend 30-45 minutes in office for the application and interview. Once the interview is complete, we will process your application and you will be entered into our active job search file.
When a position has been offered to you and if there are pre-employment requirements, we will ask you to come into the office to complete.

Get Hired

Our job openings range from highly technical positions to entry level. Many of our positions are entry level which require little experience. Often times companies are willing to train the right applicant.
Once you have completed all the steps and together we have found a good fit for your qualifications, we will submit you as a potential employee to our companies.

Paid Weekly

The benefit of working for a local staffing agency is we have our own payroll department. If you work this week for Asheville Staffing Resources, you will have a paycheck next week.

Health Insurance

Asheville Staffing Resources offers health insurance coverage to all full-time employees. Employees who work a minimum of 30 hours a week will be eligible for coverage on the first day of the month following their 60th day of full time employment, with options of coverage for their family as well.

Administrative Jobs

Reception

Receptionist is the first person to welcome visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries. Great customer service and communication are key skills for reception.

Administrative Assistant

Communicating, computing, organizing, planning, scheduling, or staffing are skills that are required for success in administration.

Accounting and Finance

Formal accounting qualification, financial reporting, analytical ability and knowledge of accounting software are usually required for accounting and finance positions.

Medical Office

Working in the medical office requires, answering telephones, customer service, handling correspondence, billing, and bookkeepingMicrosoft ExcelMicrosoft Word, troubleshooting computer problems.

Human Resources

Should possess strong employee relations, onboarding, human resources information software (HRIS), performance management, teamwork and collaboration, scheduling, customer service and project management.

Marketing and Sales

Must be a consultant of product and have interpersonal skills, good oral and written communication skills, numeracy and analytical ability and creativity and imagination.

Industrial & Manufacturing Jobs

Production Manager

Manages the operations of an assigned production area to ensure that volume, cost and quality standards are achieved.

Maintenance Technician

Performs day-to-day operations to maintain a facility under the direction of a property manager or operations manager.

Forklift Operator

Forklift operators drive around forklifts, moving materials around warehouses, storage yards, factories and other work sites.

Warehouse

Hand pick orders, build and stretch wrap pallets, pack and label merchandise for shipment, and transport products within a warehouse environment.

CNC Machinist

Work with computer numeric controlled (CNC) heavy machinery from setup to operation to produce parts and tools from metal, plastic or other materials.

Inventory Control

Inventory clerks are responsible for maintaining and managing all inventory, parts, and/or products, including recording new items, within a warehouse or stock room.
